Park Avenue Windows & Doors (“Park Avenue”) stands behind the quality of every product we supply. This Limited Warranty is extended to the original purchaser and applies only to products supplied by Park Avenue and manufactured by our approved partners. Coverage begins on the original date of purchase and is non-transferable unless expressly stated otherwise. In some cases The Manufactures warranty will exceed Park Avenue's Warranty and can be handled by the that Manufacture.

This document provides a summary of warranty coverage, available remedies, and exclusions offered by Park Avenue. Full manufacturer warranty documentation— which may provide longer coverage periods—is available upon request

Factory‑installed insulated glass units are warranted against seal failure caused by manufacturing defects that result in visible obstruction through the glass.
Standard insulated glass (≤ 60 sq. ft.): 10 years against seal failure resulting in visible obstruction.
Oversized insulated glass (≥ 60 sq. ft.): 5 years against seal failure resulting in visible obstruction.
Non‑tempered glass: 5 years against stress cracks due to manufacturing defects.
Specialty, decorative, and other glass features carry the same warranty, limitations, and exclusions provided by the original manufacturer. For complete terms, consult the applicable manufacturer documentation.

Hardware and operating components: 5 years against manufacturing defects.
Stainless steel hardware and PVD finishes in coastal environments (within 2 mile of a saltwater source): 5 years against abnormal finish deterioration. Other hardware finishes are not warranted in coastal environments.
Motorized/electronic operators: 2 years against defects in materials or workmanship.
Other electric operators and motorized accessories are covered per the original manufacturer’s warranty and limitations.

Standard exterior aluminum cladding finishes: 10 years against chalking, fading, and loss of adhesion.
Coastal aluminum cladding (within 2 miles of saltwater): 3 years against abnormal deterioration caused by corrosion and/or loss of adhesion. “Abnormal deterioration” means damage (peeling, flaking, blistering) beyond what is typical for ocean coastline environments.
Anodized/specialty exterior finishes: 5 years against manufacturing defects; not warranted in coastal environments.
Standard exterior composite cladding finish: 5 years against manufacturing defects.

Factory‑applied interior coated aluminum finish: 10 years against finish defects.
Factory‑applied interior anodized aluminum finish: 5 years against finish defects.
Natural color change or darkening of wood over time is not a defect. Raised grain and other natural wood variations may be enhanced by finishing and are not defects. Factory‑applied primer only is not covered. Factory‑applied wood primer must be painted in accordance with finishing instructions within 90 days of installation.

Bow, twist, and warp are not considered defects unless in excess of 1/4 inch in the plane of the door. Wood and wood‑clad doors 8 ft or higher ordered without both sill and header locking hardware systems are not warranted against bow, twist, or warp. Action on claims for bow, twist, or warp may be deferred for up to 12 months after installation to allow acclimation to temperature and humidity conditions

Screens are not designed to prevent falls.
Window Opening Control Devices (WOCDs) are not substitutes for supervision and must be tested at least monthly per manufacturer instructions.
Factory‑installed sensors: 2 years against manufacturing defects. Park Avenue is not responsible for third‑party systems, their integration, or compatibility. Sensors are not substitutes for insurance and may not prevent property loss, damage, personal injury, or death
This Limited Warranty is not a warranty of future performance. If a covered defect is reported within the applicable warranty period and in accordance with this Limited Warranty, Park Avenue will, at
its option:
Removal, installation, finishing, refinishing, access, and disposal costs and services are not included. Replacement parts may differ from original parts. Replacement parts, including upgrades, are warranted for the remainder of the original product warranty.
Components designated as obsolete or discontinued by the manufacturer at the time of sale are warranted against manufacturing defects for 1 year and will be noted as such.
Moisture Management
Products installed in wall systems that do not allow for proper moisture management (e.g., EIFS/synthetic stucco without effective engineered drainage) are not covered.
Thermal Efficiency
Park Avenue does not warrant the amount or percentage of argon or other inert gas present in insulating glass after manufacture. Inert gas dissipates over time and may be ineffective in products manufactured with capillary tubes. Thermal efficiencies vary by application. No specific level of thermal efficiency is warranted.
Condensation
Condensation is not a product defect but the result of excess humidity. Condensation, frost, mold, mildew, and/or fungus are not covered by this Limited Warranty
Corrosion
Except as expressly provided, finish failure or corrosion of aluminum cladding, anodized and specialty finishes, hardware, or other components due to environmental conditions (air pollutants, acid rain, salt, sand, chemicals, or other corrosives) is not covered. Refer to AAMA 609 & 610-02 cleaning/maintenance guidance
Damage, defects, or problems resulting from causes outside Park Avenue’s control are excluded, including without limitation:
Installation not in conformance with manufacturer instructions, industry best practices, and applicable codes; non‑standard installations (e.g., sloped glazing, upside‑down, out‑of‑square).
Improper or non‑standard field finishing; field mulls; field finishes.
Applications exceeding design standards; insulating glass installed above 5,000 ft without capillary tubes (unless otherwise specified).
Installation or use near pools, saunas, hot tubs, or other high‑humidity environments or sources of chlorine.
Power surges, loss of power, battery failure, or corrosion; integration or compatibility issues with third‑party systems or devices.
Failure to follow care and maintenance instructions; failure to properly treat, seal, and maintain exposed wood.
Use of brick wash, razor blades, abrasive or inappropriate cleaners or chemicals.
Misuse, abuse, modification, alteration, accident, negligence, or application of third‑party films, tints, or security systems.
Shifting or settling of the structure; extreme weather events; unusual atmospheric conditions; Acts of God.
Water infiltration other than as a result of a manufacturing defect.
Normal wear and tear; normal discoloration or fading of finishes; variations in wood color, texture, and grain.
Glass imperfections consistent with ASTM or industry standards that do not affect structural integrity.
War, insurrection, civil unrest, terrorism.
This Limited Warranty is the only warranty provided by Park Avenue, whether written or oral, express or implied. ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE DISCLAIMED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Where implied warranties cannot be disclaimed, their duration is limited to the shortest permissible term and will not exceed the term of the applicable express warranty. Products or components not specifically covered by this Limited Warranty or another written warranty are provided AS IS.
IN NO EVENT WILL PARK AVENUE BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT WILL PARK AVENUE’S LIABILITY EXCEED THE PRICE PAID FOR THE AFFECTED PRODUCT OR COMPONENT. These limitations apply even if the exclusive remedy set forth herein fails of its essential purpose.
Certifications and ratings (e.g., WDMA Hallmark, NFRC) are not performance warranties and may vary by configuration and over time. Determining code compliance, suitability, flashing, sealing, drainage, and water management is the responsibility of the buyer, user, architect, contractor, installer, and/or other construction professional. Park Avenue is not responsible for inappropriate or faulty building design, construction, maintenance, installation, or product selection.
Park Avenue may, at its discretion, extend benefits beyond this Limited Warranty on a case‑by‑case basis. Any such extension shall not constitute a waiver of the terms herein.
16. Dispute Resolution; No Class Actions; Governing Law
You agree to assert all disputes or claims against Park Avenue solely on an individual basis and not as a representative or member of any class or collective action, to the extent permitted by law. You and Park Avenue agree to waive any right to a jury trial. Disputes shall be heard and decided by a court of competent jurisdiction in the State of Texas, and Texas law shall govern this Limited Warranty, without regard to conflict of law rules.

All warranty claims must be made within 60 days of the appearance of the defect and within the applicable warranty period. To file a claim, provide written notice including: name, address, phone, date of purchase, supplier or dealer, product description, order number, a specific description of the defect, actions taken, and contacts made. Submit to the contact information below or the dealer from whom you purchased the product.
